Welcome To
Our Mission
The Heal.LA Accelerate CA Hub, powered by Larta Institute, advances community health and resilience by supporting innovators whose work serves the public good. Since 1993, Larta has empowered scientists and entrepreneurs to translate breakthrough ideas into impact—providing tailored support, funding, and ecosystem connections that strengthen resilience in food, energy, and health.
Heal.LA identifies, nurtures, and scales life sciences and healthcare startups developing solutions that address community health challenges. We believe the most transformative innovations come from founders rooted in the communities they serve—those who understand local needs firsthand. By equipping these entrepreneurs with the tools, mentorship, and validation pathways they need to grow, Heal.LA turns visionary concepts into tested, impactful solutions that improve health outcomes across Los Angeles County and beyond.
